About Me

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works with adults, couples, young adults /TAY, and adolescents.

I specialize in working with those who have experienced complex trauma and dissociation.  I work on helping people heal from the range of impacts long term trauma can have on an individual's day to day quality of life.

I tend to be an active therapist. approach is eclectic and ranges from a psychodynamic relational approach, to sensorimotor somatic modalities, brainspotting, to nuts-and-bolts skills building. I utilize a neurodiversity affirming style. My work is always based on a foundation of collaboration with the person and what goals that they are trying to work towards.  My main goal is to help you develop your own inner skills to regularly obtain more satisfaction from life, and to break patterns that may get between you and where you want yourself to be.

I have extensive experience managing programs that focus on working with individuals diagnosed with  serious mental illness such as schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders, PTSD, dissociative disorders, and bipolar disorders. I have managed adult forensics programs that target working with individuals who have had complications with the legal system specifically due to their mental health issues and collaborated with the Alameda Behavioral Health Court system in my work. In much of my community mental health practice, I have specifically focused on the age of young adults /TAY (transitional aged youth) between 18 to 25 years of age. This age range is a specific developmental stage that is not often considered by therapists and so TAY often do not do well or they drop out of therapy as a result.

My fee range is 200/ 50 minute hour at the top of my range with lower fees available depending on open sliding scale spots.

Currently I do not have openings in my practice.
